Grove is defined by material depth and crafted rhythm. A dominant plane of green quartzite forms the upper mass of the island, its tonal variation and mineral movement establishing a strong yet natural presence within the space. The stone anchors the composition, while the base introduces warmth and tactility through timber.

A framed walnut structure supports a continuous perimeter of vertical solid oak slats, wrapping the island in measured repetition. Storage is integrated seamlessly within this rhythm, with drawers concealed discreetly between the slats so that function remains present but visually quiet. Rounded corners, resolved at a generous radius, soften the geometry and encourage movement around the form.

The same timber language continues into the main kitchen units, where folding pocket doors retract fully to reveal the interior. When closed, the elevation reads as a composed surface of timber and stone; when open, the kitchen transforms, exposing its working elements without disrupting the architectural order.
